I have been under care for Lyme disease treatment and developed an issue with yeast on my tongue(TMI??)......not thrush but just a whitish yellow coat to the tongue from the antibiotics. I had read on one of the Lyme boards to try this and do an oil swish in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. I started with a TEASPOON and barely made it to 5 minutes but worked my way up to about 15 minutes with almost a TBSP.
The results have been great. The coating is just about gone....the stains I was developing on my teeth despite regular dental visits are gone and the best news is my last check up, dentist who is a holistic dentist remarked how good my teeth and gums looked. They even slightly whitened my teeth.
I take it in my smoothie as well BUT I had to start very slow with barely a TSP because it also contains caprylic acid in it naturally and that kills yeast internally. Despite taking tons of probiotics, I think it was systemic as well. I took too much the first time and experienced a "herx" for those of you that have Lyme will know from the die off of the yeast.........but I take it every day now and believe that it has really helped me deal with this dreadful disease from a tick bite.
This particular brand is the most palatable , best tasting and best dissolving I have tried. Most can be a bit grainy, but I leave it out on the counter and it is VERY smooth like soft butter sometimes.................love this brand and highly recommend and who knew they in my neighbor state of Rhode Island??...........you GO Harvest Bay!!!...thanks you for helping me heal. This is the first time I have purchased it from this vendor and hopefully they will continue to stock this item.
